Howland Steel StringBuilt as Mike's first attempt at a steel string guitar (the strings are actually phosphor bronze), it was meant only as a prototype, however it has such wonderful tone that I managed to acquire it for my collection. It has a couple of unique characteristics such as a flat finger board ala standard classical design and slightly closer string spacing at the bridge.
